Meet the Team

Rachel - Director

The driving force behind Wildwood is our director, Rachel. She started her floristry career as a 14 year old Saturday girl and was inspired to open her own business at the still tender age of 24.  As well as the shops admin, accounts, and website she still has a love for all things floral especially creating bespoke funeral work. She also loves to be out and about in the the Wildwood van delivering flowers, sometimes singing along to Paul Weller, who's song Wild Wood inspired the shops name.

Not so secret love - Rachel loves all things Italian and tries to visit Italy every year, sometimes watching her favourite Italian football team, Atalanta BC.

Leonie - Manageress

Leonie joined Wildwood in 2018. Her love for flowers began at 14 years old when she got a Saturday job just to see if she liked it, and she did! Having only ever worked in Florists her whole life, her passion for flowers has never faded. Since joining Wildwood she’s developed from Florist to Manageress, with an ever increasing skill set both with her floristry work and customer relations she is indispensable and much loved part of the team.

Favourite flower - Leonie's favourite flower is the Peony. Its limited season makes it a must have at home and in the shop. Pale pink or white are Leonie’s preferred colour choice!

Lily - Florist

After almost a decade working within the charity sector Lily decided it was time for a change and joined Wildwood in Summer 2024. She has recently completed her apprenticeship and is enjoying the progression of her career in floristry. Lily loves to learn and develop her knowledge of flowers and floral design. She has excellent customer service skills, and her bubbly but calm personality is a great asset, beloved by the team.

Out of office - When she's not in work, Lily loves to be outside with her bulldog Cuba, or you can find her on the dancefloor singing along to her other love, Prince.

Lauren - Florist

After having a few years away from us Lauren returned to floristry at Wildwood early 2026. Her love for flowers and creative nature make floristry the perfect career for her. It’s always a pleasure for both the team and our customers when Lauren is in, her warm bubbly personality brings a bit of sunshine to the day. Lauren loves design and is the mastermind to many of the Wildwood window displays over the years.

Lights, Camera,Action - Lauren loves the cinema, and we mean LOVES! When not in work she can be found watching the latest releases, often visiting the cinema several times in a month, she’s our very own movie review critic.

Roger - Driver

We cannot remember the time when Roger was not driving for us, He's now like part of the Wildwood furniture! He is always happy tootling around listening to his favourite Radio 2 and loves meeting lots of different people on his travels.

He always tells us when he's had a big smile off one of his recipients.

Claret and blue - Roger is a big Villa fan and goes to watch them whenever he can, if he was a stick of rock he would have claret and blue running through him.
